START your time by saying a short prayer asking God to connect with you, to teach you, and to help you grow your relationships with Him.

OBSERVE

Repeat the same thing from yesterday and make note of who, what, when, where, why and, how things are happening.

Notice any keywords.

LISTS

Today, try to find something that is listed out. An order of events, a series, a list of ideas. Lists can be helpful to seeing the big picture. The author (Mark) is trying to make a specific point to the audience. Lists can help drive that point home.

Write these observations down in your notebook under a new section with a new title being the passage you are reading.
